Our Vacqueyras vines are essentially situated around the domaine.
The soil is stony in certain places and sandy-clayey in others.
The privileged aspect and diversity of the land
assures explicit wines of character.

The situation of our Gigondas vines, nestled at the feet of the 'Dentelles de Montmirail', is an especially privileged location, comprising vines of the 'Petit Montmirail', the family estate of Mme Louisette Combe.

The traditional bands of vines on the slopes hold grape varieties of mostly Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. This setting, snuggling between pine trees, thyme and rosemary under a southwesterly Provencal sun, assures a complex environment guaranteeing great wines.

The working of the vines takes into consideration the respect
of the environment and of man :
sustainable development in the working of the land.

The quality of our products is due essentially to rigorous work-practices which consist of doing a number of tasks such as de-leafing, de-budding, eliminating secondary-buds, primary harvesting, etc.

Our philosophy is compatible with grape selection and manual harvesting.

-   Mediterranean type climate
- 600 - 800 mm of rain per year - essentially from storms and showers
- More than 100 days of Mistral per year
- Hot dry weather favouring the maturity of the berries
- A climate tempered by the influence of the pre-Alps Massif 'Dentelles de Montmirail'
